The CCMS, located in Trentham, Victoria, recognises the needs of men just looking for a place to be or who may be undergoing one of life's many transitions; moving house, retirement, bereavement, loss of employment, ill health, disability.
A sense of purpose, belonging and comradeship is known to substantially improve the wellbeing of men. Having something to look forward to, catching up with mates, sharing stories and life experiences, feeling good about yourself, each contribute to the psychological health of men. Undertaking projects, designing and building helps maintain an active body and mind.

The Shed is well equipped with a full-size kitchen, dining area, large TV and pool table. There is ample opportunity to have coffee and a chat, play cards or board games, read or watch TV. The workshop is superbly set up for a range of woodworking, metalworking and other endeavours.
Members can bring their own projects or engage in projects the Shed undertakes for the community. Training and supervision is provided in the use of the extensive tools and machinery available.
